Biography: Ms AL-Nsour is the Assistant Director of the Payment Systems Department at the Central Bank of Jordan, with over 20 years of professional experience in the fields of payment systems, oversight, supervision, and financial market infrastructure development. She is responsible for the development and enhancement of the Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) system in Jordan, leading strategic initiatives aimed at improving system efficiency, resilience, and operational effectiveness. Head of the RTGS Operating Hours Extension Team, overseeing the expansion and optimization of the systems availability. She is also leading the team responsible for automation of government payments at the Central Bank of Jordan, contributing to improved efficiency, transparency, and reliability of public-sector payment processes. Ms AL-Nsour Chairs the National ISO 20022 Development Committee, leading national efforts to align Jordan’s payment systems with international messaging and interoperability standards. Under her remit she is responsible for the periodic assessment of Financial Market Infrastructures (FMIs) in accordance with international standards and principles. She is also a Steering Committee Member – AI and emerging and future technology in the financial and banking sector.
